Wall Street Inspired Approach to Practice

I spent my first year at Morehouse—where excellence is expected, not assumed. From there, I earned my way into SEO—Sponsors for Educational Opportunity—which turned ambition into access. At 19, I walked into the corporate finance bullpen at Salomon Brothers. I didn’t have legacy, but I had clarity. SEO cracked the door open. I didn’t hesitate.

Wall Street taught me the language of capital—the discipline of numbers, the psychology behind decisions, and the difference between theory and timing. I worked in investment banking, focused on energy, learning how deals get structured and how trust gets built.

That foundation became the Wells Group of New York—a firm I started to support founders, senior executives, and investors navigating growth, transition, and complexity. We work across startups and the lower middle market, bringing strategic finance and operational clarity where it’s needed most.

What sets me apart isn’t just technical fluency. It’s the ability to move between contexts—boardroom and back office, spreadsheet and story. I don’t approach companies like a consultant with a playbook, but as a partner who understands what’s at stake.

Morehouse shaped how I see the world. Wall Street gave me tools to move through it. Today, I use both to help leaders make better decisions, build stronger businesses, and stay focused on what really matters.
