Wells Group Expands Interim CFO Practice

with Hire of Managing Director in Los Angeles

 

 

Karsten Loose to Lead West Coast Practice

NEW YORK, NY, June 5, 2023 - Wells Group of New York (WGNY), a leading CFO and management consulting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karsten Loose as Managing Director. In his role, Mr. Loose will be responsible for expanding the company’s west coast CFO practice and overseeing its operations.

 

With over 15 years of experience in corporate and operating finance roles, Mr. Loose brings a wealth of expertise to WGNY. Mr. Loose joins WGNY after most recently serving as SVP of Finance at Parachute Home, a leading direct-to-consumer home textiles brand, where he was a member of the executive team and was responsible for building its finance and accounting, investor relations and legal functions as well as overseeing HR. Prior to joining Parachute Home, Mr. Loose was the CFO of FIGS, a premium direct-to-consumer medical scrubs brand, which went public via IPO in 2021, and VP of Finance at thredUP, the largest online secondhand apparel marketplace, which also went public via IPO in 2021. Mr. Loose started his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, ultimately rising to Vice President, where he advised consumer, retail and industrials clients on M&A, equity, debt and other corporate transactions. Mr. Loose received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Economics with honors from UC Berkeley.
